M. Fatih KURT graduated from Kuleli Military High School in 1990 and from the Air Force Academy as an Electronics Engineer in 1994. He served as an air defense officer at various levels of the Air Forces Command for 15 years. In 2007, he completed his master's degree in International Relations at Beykent University.
KURT resigned from the Air Force Command in 2010 and started his civil aviation and pilot training. In this context; between 2011-2013, he completed his PPL and CPL Flight and Theory Training at ER-AH Aviation Flight Training Organization, Antalya and AIRBUS 320/21 Type Flight and Theory Training at Atlasjet, Istanbul. During the training period, he worked as a co-pilot in Airbus 320/21 type passenger airplanes. In this period, he gained detailed knowledge on Aviation Law through the trainings he received, and gained comprehensive knowledge on airlines and airports operations through the flight activities he performed. In the context of aviation law in terms of his experience and areas of practice, he provides representation and consultancy services in relations and activities to be carried out with domestic institutions and organizations such as the Directorate General of Civil Aviation (DGCAO), Directorate General of State Airports Authority (DHMİ), Airlines Cargo Council (ACC) and Air Transport Facilitation Committee (HANKOK) and foreign institutions and organizations such as the International Civil Aviation Organization (ICAO), International Air Transport Association (IATA) and European Aviation Safety Agency (EASA).
KURT, who is fluent in English, transferred to the administrative staff in 2014 to work as a consultant in the Civil Aviation Department of Istanbul Medeniyet University after his flight career. He is currently working as a Coordinator at Istanbul Medeniyet University.
